1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PlanVault websites, forms, questionnaires, funnels, and matching service (together, the "Service"). PlanVault is a brand operated by RevScale Ventures LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("PlanVault," "we," "our," or "us").
By using the Service, or by submitting information through any PlanVault-operated form, page, or funnel, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What PlanVault Is, and What It Is Not
PlanVault is a matching and connection service. We collect the information you choose to provide, use it to identify a licensed financial professional in our partner network whose focus fits your situation, and pass your information to that professional so they can contact you.
PlanVault is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, financial planner, insurance agency, accountant, or law firm, and is not a fiduciary to you. We do not provide investment, financial, tax, or legal advice, and nothing on the Service should be treated as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, insurance product, or other financial product.
Educational content published on the Service is general information only. It is not tailored to your circumstances and does not account for your income, assets, tax position, health, family situation, or goals.
3. Compliance Disclaimer
Plan Vault is not a financial advisor and does not provide financial advice. We are a referral and connection service that connects individuals with licensed financial advisors. Any information provided is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Always consult a qualified financial professional before making any financial decisions.
4. The Advisory Relationship Is Between You and the Professional
Financial professionals in our partner network are independent. They are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of PlanVault, and we do not supervise, control, or direct their work.
Any advice, recommendation, suitability determination, product, service, fee arrangement, disclosure, or agreement is solely between you and the professional you are matched with. PlanVault is not a party to that relationship and takes no responsibility for it. You are free to work with the matched professional, work with someone else, or do nothing at all.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you meet both requirements.
6. Accuracy of the Information You Submit
You agree that the information you submit is accurate and belongs to you, and that you have the right to share it. Submitting another person's information without their permission is not permitted. Matching quality depends on the accuracy of what you provide, and we are not responsible for outcomes that follow from inaccurate or incomplete submissions.
7. Consent to Be Contacted
By submitting your information, you consent to be contacted by PlanVault and by the financial professional you are matched with, by phone, email, and text message, including through automated technology and pre-recorded messages. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything. You may opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to a text message or by contacting us directly. Full detail on how your information is handled is in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. No Guarantees
We do not guarantee any outcome. We do not guarantee that you will be matched, that a professional will contact you within any particular timeframe, that you will find a match suitable, or that any financial result, return, income level, or tax treatment will follow from using the Service or from working with a matched professional. Any figures shown in calculators or educational content are illustrative estimates based on the inputs given, not predictions or promises.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone
- Scrape, harvest, copy, or republish content or data from the Service without written permission
- Interfere with, disrupt, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its text, design, graphics, tools, and the PlanVault name and marks, is owned by RevScale Ventures LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may view and share links to our published content. You may not reproduce, resell, or create derivative works from it without written permission.
11. Third-Party Sites and Services
The Service may link to third-party websites, including those of our partner professionals and official verification tools. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party site is governed by that site's own terms.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we do not warrant the qualifications, conduct, or results of any professional you are matched with.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlanVault and RevScale Ventures LLC, along with their members, officers, employees, and contractors, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data, investment value, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service or your dealings with any matched professional, whether based in contract, tort, statute, or any other theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlanVault and RevScale Ventures LLC from any claim, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time, and we may decline or stop providing the Service to anyone who violates these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including sections 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, and 16, will survive.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when the updated version is posted, and the "Last Updated" date above will reflect the revision. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
